Paul John Ballard, born in 1960, was
expected to pursue a career in art, but
instead he decided to join the army.
Later he spent 12 years in a variety of
jobs. Never losing his interest in drawing
and painting, he took a part time course
at London College of Art and received a
diploma. Over the years he built up an
impressive portfolio.
Paul formed a limited company along
with his brother Colin and Kenneth
Clarke and enlisted the help of Andrew
W. Smith: Beaumont Hall Studios, a
15th century derelict barn, which has
now been totally transformed into a
working art gallery, housing the UK's
largest assemblage of erotic artists.
