Richard Williams has been creating
images of women for 20 years.
For a long time it has been his antidote
to the pressure to produce commercial
images and concepts.
Based in London, Richard founded the
"Diva Photography Project" originally as
reaction to increasing commercialisation
of the nude, but is today much more
about defining the nude in its context.
So far there are thousands of images in
the project - some have been published
and many have appeared in exhibitions.
Most of the early images were taken in
the studio with a Hasselblad 6x6cm.
