21 year old Samantha Wolov is taking
pictures of people having sex and calls
it art. She has received her B.A.in Art
History, during which she concentrated
on erotica and gendered imagery. She
is acutely aware of the influence nudity
and sex hold on art, seeing no aesthetic
difference between "art" and "porn" and
she does not agree with maintaining that
binary. Moreover, she does not agree
with the stigmatizing of pornography.
Samantha tries to make her own work
straddle the lines between art and porn
in order to encourage people to question
the status quo towards porn and erotica
and reevaluate their personal definitions
of the two.
